REVIEW
“Wow! What an incredible and unforgettable trekking experience my mom and I had this trip! From the overnight camping locations to the personalized trekking pace to the gourmet camping meals, we could not have asked for any better.
Guide is so knowledgeable about the area. The vegetation, the culture, you name it and explanations from Guide. Guide did a fantastic job managing both our trekking levels, taking me on more challenging treks some of the days and making sure to watch out for both of us while trekking together.
The horseman always chose phenomenal locations, pristine, isolated and with unbeatable views! And the cooks surprised us every day with delicious meals that we never would have imagined eating in the Himalayas at 3500m. While trekking I became sick and all of the staff was offering their help or suggestions to get me better – all it took a bit of extra trekking! I always felt extremely well taken care of, and I will definitely recommend Potala to anyone I know coming to India to trek. The staff was infinitely flexible and understanding of my mom and my funny requests – like to have tea with breakfast. "
“Every part of our 4 days trek was well managed by our guide and he took great care of me, a 60 year old and my daughter 22, making sure I make it up some challenging climbs and my daughter got more challenge. I probably gain weight on this trek from the amazing meals cooked for us also. We did the Deo Tibba / Hamta circuit which was amazingly beautiful – everything from villages to forests to waterfalls, to high snow-capped peaks. The camping views and locations were private, spectacular settings.
We highly recommend Potala Adventures and their guides for taking care of all our trip needs in the most professional and personal way. Thank you for a most memorable trek.
We will definitely come back to trek with Potala again. "
