TRIP OVERVIEWAn exceptionally remote trek takes us completely off the beaten track. We trek through a very remote country in the mystical kingdom of Ladakh Zanskar. We gradually make our way through the mountains of Ladakh, crossing numerous passes and a series of gorges and pass beautiful villages. Continue to follow along the turquoise river of Oma Chu, go gently exposed in the canyon route, eventually reaching the Dibling village, one of the most remote villages of Ladakh.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Drive Leh - Wanla - Sirsir La (4805 m) 5-6 hrs, Trek to Photoksar (4400 m) 2-3 hrs.
Leaving Leh on Leh - Srinagar highway to Wanla and up to Sirsir la. It's 6-7 hrs of drive and acclimatizes trek, from pass gentle and easy descend by following the good trek path to Photoksar an isolated and charming village. Evening explores the village. Campsite before the village near the river. Overnight at Camp. (4210m)

Day 2: Trek to Boumitse La (4400 m) - base of Singey La (Sengge La (4400 m), 7-8 hrs.
Right from the camp, start to ascend for few meters and then continue along the clear path. beautiful view of village Photoksar and surrounding mountains and gorge. Carry on ascending up to the top of Boumitse-la, from the pass you can directly see the Singey la Pass which is about more than three hours trek from this point. Continue to climb on high pasture land on photang valley, where villagers of Photokars keep their yaks, dzo, and horses for grazing. At the final stage, we climb steeply to Singey la 5060m the 2nd highest point of our trek. Sengge in Tibetan means lion. So its lion pass, the view, and formations of pass appear like a lion, from pass a panoramic view of Zanskar range, next 1 hrs of steep ascent to base camp.

Day 3: Trek to Singey La/Sengge La (4950 m) - Yulchung (3900 m)
Right from the camp, start ascending up to the top of Singe-la. It is easy to ascend but 1200m before the top, it is a steep ascend in zigzag. From the pass, the route descends steeply to a loose boulder-strewn area. This is called Champado Gongma. Continue along the right side of the valley, clear path up to village Skyumphatta. Beautiful and awesome view of the landscape of the valley. Follow the beaten easy track and on the way, you find a junction. One goes straight towards Lingshed and another goes down towards Yulchung village that you see below. Take a left-hand side and then descend down in a zig-zag clear path.

Day 4: Trek to Lingshed (3900 m)
Leaving Yulchung this morning we head to Lingshed, which is 500 meters above Yulchung. We follow the small trail that leads north out of the village, ascending through the pasture. Now climbing steeply into the canyon, we will have to cross the newly bridge motorable. We cross small passes en route to Linghsed.

Day 5: Trek to Barmi La (4600 m) – Lingshed Sumdo, 6-7 hrs.
Leaving the main trail we climb to Barmi la pass and descend through a narrow gorge to Lingshed Sumdo. There are some river crossings involve short before the arrival of Lingshed Sumdo.

Day 6: Trek to Dibling (4000 m) 5-6 hrs.
We follow Oma Chu River to Dibling and numbers of time main River and side streams to be cross. At some stretches, it's tricky to find a way. Keeping our pace on the valley floor continue to Dibling. Dibling is one of the remotest villages in Ladakh and inhabitants of this village often visit Lingshed.

Day 7: Rest day at Dibling
Explore Dibling village and visit local house.

Day 8: Trek to Base Pikdong la (4200 m), 5 hrs.
After exploring the village we continue to our campsite short after crossing the bridge in large open meadows and crossing stream short before the Dibling Doksa to our campsite.

Day 9: Trek to Pikdong La (5020 m) – Kanji Sumdo (4300 m), 7 hrs.
Today leaving camp steep ascent to Pikdong la. Gradual descent after the pass in a narrow gorge. Crossing of the stream at several points and need to find out the way. A short climb to a ridge and high above the River we follow a well-defined trail to Kanji Sumdo. We cross 2 rivers close to Kanji Sumdo.

Day 10: Trek to Kanji La (5250 m) - Kanji La North Base Camp (4350 m), 7-8 hrs.
We follow a small trail to the junction and here we will have the first view of Nun and Kun which remains insight during our climb to Kanji la pass. The more we go up the better appearance of peak rising in the Great Himalayan Range. Some of the known and famous peaks are Hagshu, Doda, and Brahma. It is a long climb through a rocky moraine to the pass. On a clear sky, one can have a clear view of Nanga Parbat to the west and K2 to the North. A tricky descent short after pass consists of loose rocks than on a small glacier. A resting place that points towards the view of the K2 peak. So high range of zoom and camera is a must for this trek to enjoy the view of Karakorum peaks. Continue descent to the campsite.

Day 11: Trek to Kanji (3850 m) 5-6 Hrs.
Today trekking along the stream and which passes through a narrow gorge to the large open field. We will meet with Yaks, Dzo which signifies the arrival of Kanji village. Explore the village Overnight camp.

Day 12: Kanji to Lamayuru - Leh, 6-7 hrs.
Leaving early drive to Lamayuru and continue to Leh.

ITINERARY

What we provide
We provide all the GROUP GEAR included in the following list:

3-4 Person roomy 4 season tents for 2 - 3 people and individual as well, dining tent, toilet tent and other camping accessories.
Sleeping bags and comfortable foam mattresses.
Kitchen tent, Stoves, fuel, cookware etc.
Bed tea, nutritious breakfast, three course meal (dinner), packed lunch, post trek snacks, tea and coffee.
Trekking poles and Duffel bags for your luggage's.

What you may need - Your personal gear recommended in List :-
Day pack: A bit of bigger size 30 - 40 liters in order to keep fleece, jacket, water bottle, camera, packed lunch

Foot wear :-
Good condition trekking boots – not new used before in your country side for best fit for trekking, water proof.
Camp shoes, light and comfortable as running shoes or sandal ( like Teva ) for river crossing. Its necessity for you to bring sandals for river crossing.
Socks both Woolen and cotton as desire.

Clothing :-
Gore tex jacket or similar.
Down jacket/vest is good for cool evenings.
Wind/Rain jacket: (i.e. gore-tex, northface or similar) waterproof and breathable. Its necessity to have jacket while crossing passes.
Trekking pants, light, comfortable, water proof /breathable.
Long sleeve shirt Light weight dry-fast (for sun/insect protection).
Thermal innerwear winter thermal innerwear.
T-shirts for day time.
One mid weight/heavyweight fleece (long sleeve) jacket or warm pullover.
Short pants, underwear.
Sun Hat: cowboy style or baseball style to protect skin from direct sunlight.
Woolen cap for high altitude or while crossing pass or during evenings in camp.
One fleece or sweatpants for cold evenings during dining.
A pair of Hand gloves or woolen gloves.
Scarf to protect from dust or sunlight around neck. This is available in local markets with variety of colors.

Accessories :- 
Sun glasses with UV protection. An extra sun glass in case to replace.
Sun screen and lip protection.
Moisturizer cream: In Ladakh the air is dry and sun is harsh and strong during day. There are local moisturizer cream available in market. To avoid somehow skin allergy bring your personal cream.
Water bottle. Minimum I - 2 liter.
Trekking poles or sticks. If you have your own folded poles. 
Torch or one head lamp with extra batteries. Petzl or similar.
One toiletries kit, small towel.
Reading and writing materials.
Digital Camera or digital video recorder / solar charger.
Water purification tablets.
Nylon or water proof plastic bags to storage clothes and stuff.
One pocket knife light.

Water purification/filter: we boil water for you in the camp, what its essential you to have a water purification tablets or filter during the day of trekking.
