This turquoise Ghepan Ghat Lake is situated at 4,130m or 13550ft above sea level. The trail to the Lake stretches high above the river, you will see spectacular sights of snow-capped peaks, meadows are carpeted with a variety of flowers, and listen to the thundering sounds of rivers and waterfalls. A moderate hike to anyone with some difficult river crossings and rugged trails. The Ghepan Goh peak dominates the Chandra valley, so throughout the trek also. The Ghepan Ghat stretching over a mile long and make its complete glacial lake with small icebergs floating on its surface. The best time to reach this lake is from Mid-June to October.
