Overview
The setting of our journey from Chandigarh or Delhi, we traverse through one of the best places in the Himalayan region. Crossing beautiful landscapes of Kullu Manali and acclimatizing. Arriving Ladakh region with well acclimatize for further trip. We meet locals, make short hikes around villages, explore local culture, visit ancient places, cross high passes, and relax in a beautiful campsite located near the high lakes of Ladakh. Potala’s recommended trip in the Western Himalayan regions of Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal.
Finally, end up the trip in the stunning landscape of Kashmir and explore the large Dal Lake at Srinagar, where this trip ends.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Chandigarh airport, pick up and drive to Manali.
Day 2: Manali
Day 3: Manali- Solang valley- Rohtang pass – Keylong (3100m) – Jispa (3300m
Day 4: Jispa -Patseo – Deeptak tal – Suraj tal – Baralacha la pass (4890m) – Sarchu (4200m) – Pang -Tsokar Lake
Day 5: Tsokar Lake – Karzok – Tsomoriri Lake (4500m)
Day 6: Tsomoriri Lake – Chumathang – Mahe – Chemrey – Taktok – Chang la pass (5360m)- Pangong Lake (4250m) – Spangmik, 165 kms, 6 hrs.
Day 7: At Pangong Lake
Day 8: Pangong Lake – Taktok – Chemrey – Hemis – Thiksey – Shey – Leh, 145 km, 6 hrs.
Day 9: Leh – Khardung la – sight -seeing of Sumoor Samstaling -Diskit – Hunder (sand dunes and camel ride)
Day 10: Hunder – Khardungla – Spituk – Stok – Leh
Day 11: At Leh: Leisure day
Day 12: Leh – Alchi – Likir – Rizong – Tingmosgam
Day 13: Tingmosgam – Lamayuru – Mulbekh – Kargil
Day 14: Kargil – Srinagar
Day 15: Drive to the airport and fly to Mumbai or Delhi.
